The event saw the attendance of Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Press Association Ho Quang Loi, Vice Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Le Hong Son.
This year’s event drew the participation of 26 booths of central and local press agencies in Ha Noi as well as other localities, such as: Nhan Dan (People), Quan Doi Nhan Dan (People's Army), Cong An Nhan Dan (People's Police), Dai Doan Ket (Great Solidarity), Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon), Viet Nam Economic Times, Ha Noi Moi (New Ha Noi), Kinh te va Do thi (Economic and Urban Newspaper), etc.

Adressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Press Association Ho Quang Loi said that Spring Press Festival is an important annual media event in the capital city, offering a good opportunity for central and capital press agencies to meet and review their development during the past year.

Hundreds of spring publications and magazines are on display at the event, including magazines, printed and pictorial editions, audio and television products and online newspapers, praise the Party and Uncle Ho as well as introduce achievements in all fields that the country, particularly the capital, has made over the last year.
On the occasion, the Ha Noi Journalists' Association presented 2015 Ngo Tat To Press Awards to the most outstanding journalists and gave awards to press works reflecting “good people, good deeds”.
