Ha Noi Department of Taxation has maintained information work on mass media, publicized information about tax levels and revenues of household businesses on website and at Tax Offices, and kept individual and household businesses informed about new tax policies.
In response to Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP dated March 12, 2015 of the Government on improving business environment and national competitiveness, the Ha Noi Department of Taxation organized workshops to review and propose measures for improving tax management and ensuring transparency. Document No. 39852/CT-HTr was issued on June 19, 2015, aiming to provide information and guide individual and household businesses to pay tax at tax collection points of commercial banks.
If individual and household businesses are located in outlying areas or areas without tax collection points, Tax Offices will assign tax officers to collect tax and issue receipt according to regulations. The Department of Tax issued Official Letter No. 41339/CT-THNVDT dated June 24, 2015, asking Tax Offices to report and cooperate with local authorities to collect tax at tax collection points.
To create favorable conditions for tax payers, Tax Offices are asked to review statistics of tax collection points and propose for new points in necessary cases. Based on the review, Ha Noi Tax Department proposed commercial banks for opening new 49 tax collection points.
Moreover, the Department has systemized documents and policies on business registration, tax declaration and payment of individual and household businesses, then the information will be publicized and popularized to individual and household businesses.
