Accordingly, the General Department of Taxation in cooperation with Vietcombank will set up a system to transmit, receive and check the data of tax payers. The service will use digital signatures to certify online data. To pay tax online, service users visit portal of General Department of Taxation and fulfill the note of payment which will be sent automatically to Vietcombank for further settlement.
It will help tax payers save time, effort and manage their payment, transactions easier; besides, tax payers will have opportunity to use other value-added services.
According to Mr Nguyen Danh Luong, Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, they will set up the system right after signing agreement and complete connection between the two sides, along with building the best information-technology system for convenience of tax payers.
As scheduled, General Department of Taxation and the bank expect to offer online tax payment service to 15,000 taxpayers in 18 cities and provinces across the country, such as Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City.
