328 enterprises, individuals honored for abiding by tax policies and law (08:25 19/06/2014)

HNP - Ha Noi Department of Taxation held a ceremony on June 17 to honor enterprises and individuals, who consciously abided by tax policies and laws in 2013.

In spite of economic recession in 2013, enterprises in Ha Noi have made contribution of nearly VND 100 trillion to state budget, accounting for 63.94% total revenues in the area. Total revenues of Ha Noi are estimated at VND 155.500 billion, representing 103.8% of assigned estimation and increased by 15.8% compared to the same period of 2012. 
328 enterprises and individuals were honored at the ceremony by the Ministry of Finance, General Department of Taxation, Municipal People’s Committee and Ha Noi Department of Taxation; ten of them received merits. 
After success of movement “Abiding by tax policies and laws” 2013,  it will be continued in 2014 by Ha Noi Department of Taxation, aiming to highlight role and responsibility of tax payers, recognize and honor tax payers abiding by law and policies, and promote the relations between tax authority and tax payers. 
Speaking at the ceremony, Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highly appreciated contribution of enterprises, businesspeople and business households, especially 328 honored firms. He required Ha Noi Department of Taxation to give recommendation to General Department of Taxation and Municipal People’s Committee, hence settle policies, mechanism to help enterprises overcome difficulties, strengthen their business, production and realization of tax policies. He also expected enterprises to improve technology, management and competitiveness for further contribution to city’s development.
