Accordingly, Hue asked relevant agencies to effectively carry out Directive No. 09/CT-UBND dated June 1, 2020 of the municipal People’s Committee on financial and budgetary tasks in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He ordered to set up specialized teams in charge of evaluating current revenue sources in accordance with Decision No. 3445/QD-UBND dated August 6, 2020 of the municipal People’s Committee.
Under the document, Hanoi will continue to improve investment environment, create favorable conditions for production and business activities and promote import and export.
More effort will be made to speed up the deployment of investment projects approved by the municipal authorities at the conference “Hanoi 2020 - Investment and Development Cooperation”, and effectively implement programs to stimulate domestic consumption, aiming to generate resources for state budget.
In addition to removing problems related to land of projects, departments, agencies and district/township People’s Committees are required to work with tax authorities on specific measures to achieve the highest possible revenue target set for 2020.
Regarding disbursement of public investment capital in the remaining months of 2020, Hue said that the city would strive to disburse 100% of the amount.
The Hanoi Party chief urged relevant parties to submit Hanoi’s specific mechanism to shorten the time for compensation, assistance, resettlement and handover of land for projects with land acquisition to the Government for approval.
