The program aims to create a meeting space to facilitate business matching; to listen and take notes of the opinions, difficulties, problems, suggestions and recommendations of the capital's business community with the local government.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Le Tu Luc, said in the first 8 months of 2022, Hanoi's economy has seen strong recovery, especially as the industrial production index of Hanoi increased by 8.3% over the same period in 2021 and FDI attraction reached US$992.3 million.
To achieve that result, Hanoi has implemented many tasks and solutions to promptly support and remove difficulties for the business community in production and business activities. In particular, the city has always identified enterprises manufacturing key industrial products as one of the pioneering forces, playing an important role in the development of the capital.
At the program, businesses shared their difficulties and proposed contents related to capital access and interest rates; expansion of production; apply science and technology to production and business; business connection, among others.
Answering questions about loans, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Investment and Development Fund Kieu Xuan Nghi said that the Fund is willing to guide businesses to borrow loans according to regulations if they need capital to develop production and business.
From the perspective of state management, Director of the SBV branch in Hanoi Nguyen Minh Tuan shared that banks are also very demanding, as they want to know all details of businesses before giving out credit. Tuan noted the key issue is that enterprises must be transparent in finance and business administration.
To make the City's "Entrepreneur Cafe" program a suitable platform for the local authorities to meet and listen to businesses' opinions, contributing to improving the business/investment environment and enhancing the city's provincial competitiveness, the HPA suggested businesses take action in coordination with the city, maximize the spirit of creativity, proactively seize opportunities for growth.
