At the meeting, Chairman of Dong Anh District People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Linh said that in the first 9 months of the year, the District People's Committee actively implemented tasks in a synchronized and focused manner, thanks to which the District's socio-economic situation has achieved high and positive results in all fields. The production value of economic sectors in the area was estimated at VND127 trillion, up 10.9% over the same period last year. In which, VND114 trillion from Industry - Construction, up 10.5%; VND11.1 trillion from Trade - Service, up 16.5%; VND1.8 trillion from Agriculture, up 0.8%.
Notably, 2022 is the first year the district has been assigned by the City to be autonomous in revenue and expenditure tasks. Up to now, the district's budget revenue has basically achieved the target. In which, the total budget revenue of the district in the first 9 months was estimated at VND3.2 trillion, equaling 81.2% of the estimate assigned by the City and 121% over the same period last year. Total budget expenditure of the district expected to be realized in the first 9 months of the year is VND2.3 trillion, reaching 55% of the estimate assigned by the City and 110% of the same period last year.
In addition, the district remained highly focused in the goal of building Dong Anh into an urban district.
Political security, social order and safety in the district are maintained; the number of criminal cases decreased over the same period; social media crimes are curbed; criminal offenses decreased compared to the same period in 2021.
In the remaining 3 months of the year, Chairman of the Dong Anh District People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Linh said that the district will focus on reviewing projects, programs, plans, tasks and specific solutions in order to effectively implement them, strive to complete and exceed the socio-economic development targets in 2022; successfully complete the key tasks in 2022 of the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee, term XXIX; at the same time, finish the drafting of the socio-economic development plan in 2023. Along with that, the district will focus on accelerating the progress of budget collection, especially revenue from auction of land use rights.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh praised and highly appreciated the Dong Anh Party Committee and government for their sense of responsibility and implementation of political tasks over the past time, achieving good results in many areas. He suggested the district continue to keep pace, maintain the past results, and at the same time, be more proactive and drastic in performing all tasks.
