The drill features different scenarios of the complicated evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic so as for the authorities to take measures to respond to as well as deal with arising problems and ensure utmost safety for students during the exams.
Members of district-level exam steering committees, relevant agencies and organizations, public security forces, youth union members, medical staff and electricity workers, along with principals, vice principals, officials and teachers of public schools and educational institutions join the rehearsal.
Contest venues, namely, the Thai Thinh Secondary School (Dong Da district), the Hoang Liet Secondary School (Hoang Mai district), the Phan Dinh Phung High School and Thang Long Secondary School (Ba Dinh district), and the Nhat Tan Secondary School (Tay Ho district), among others have conducted their the upcoming admission examination drills in strict manner and in line with guidance of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health.
Stringent preventive measures against the pandemic will be put in place in all contest venues so as to ensure the success of the exam amid the on-going COVID-19 outbreaks.
In particular, body temperature will be checked. Hand sanitizers and face masks must be used to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Healthcare worker will practice detecting students with virus-like symptoms such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath.
In order to handle all problems which could arise on exam days, the municipal Steering Committee asked district-level steering committees to draw up detailed scenarios in line with actual conditions and developments of the epidemic in localities.
