The city mayor paid a visit and inspected the COVID-19 prevention work in TOTO Vietnam.
During nearly 20 years of development, TOTO Vietnam has grown consistently, from a staff of more than 300 to nearly 5,000 workers. The company maintained its business growth, with the revenue of approximately VND4.5 trillion despite the complicated development of the coronavirus disease in 2020. TOTO Vietnam’s product has been among top 10 key industrial products of Hanoi.
Inspecting the enforcement of COVID-19 prevention and control regulations in the company, Chairman Chu Ngoc Anh said Hanoi as well as local businesses faced many challenges posed by the coronavirus disease.
However, TOTO Vietnam exerted every effort to overcome the difficulties and expand its production and business activities, he stressed.
Recognizing and highly appreciating TOTO Vietnam’s great contribution to the capital’s development, the city mayor urged the company to continue strictly carrying out anti-COVID-19 measures.
He stated that the city would create favorable conditions for local enterprises, including TOTO Vietnam.

Chairman Chu Ngoc Anh later visited the International Investment Trade and Service Joint Stock Company ( Interserco), located in My Dinh.
He expressed his impression at the growth of Interserco over the past 40 years, with the annual import and export tariff payment of roughly VND5 trillion.
The leader also valued the company’s effort in applying advanced technologies to speed up customs clearance in association with strictly monitoring transport vehicles.
In 2021, Interserco should focus on measures to reduce logistics cost, Anh noted.
Visiting the CMC Corporation, Hanoi mayor Chu Ngoc Anh highly spoke of its modern facilities as well as qualified human resources.
He hoped the corporation would be a pioneer in term of cloud computing and other advanced technologies, helping the city to promote the digital transformation in fields of agriculture and logistics.
Especially, in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak, Anh urged CMC to continue assisting the city in fighting the pandemic.
