In 2020, Ba Dinh district’s emulation campaign has been improved and created motivation for organizations and individuals in pursuing their respective targets.
Production value of the private sector in the district rose by 8.5% year-on-year to VND73.61 trillion, in which that of trade and services rose by 10% to VNVD53.2 trillion, construction and industry sector, up 4.7% to VND20.3 trillion.
Ba Dinh district’s budget revenue was estimated at VND7.14 trillion, 2.71% above the yearly’s plan.
The ratio of households qualified as cultured families stood at 94.7%, or 107.6% of the target, while organizations and individuals supported VND1.49 billion for the charity fund, or 114.9% of the target.
Meanwhile, Ba Dinh district disbursed VND426 billion in public investment, or 170% of the target, along with 100% of the projects getting construction license.
Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh highlighted the efforts of the local authorities in 2020, saying such efforts have contributed a significant part to the overall socio-economic development.
As an administrative-political hub of Hanoi, Anh requested Ba Dinh district to put its utmost priorities in securing political security and public order.
The Hanoi’s mayor expected the district to continue focusing on socio-economic development targets, and protecting welfare for people, especially social beneficiaries and state contributors.
Chairman of the Ba Dinh district People’s Committee Ta Nam Chien said the district is committed to realizing its socio-economic targets for 2021, while pursuing the dual target of both containing the pandemic and boosting economic recovery.
