The new bridge is built downstream of the Red River, parallel with Vinh Tuy Bridge 1, with a total length of over 3.4km including belt roads. It will measure 19.25m in width, which can accommodate four lanes of vehicles.
The cost of construction for the bridge’s second phase is estimated over VND2.5 trillion (US$107.1 million), sourced from the city’s budget.
