Hanoi Party chief receives representatives of Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) (22:07 04/12/2020)
Expressing his delight at the visit of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) ahead of the New year festivals, the Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue briefed the delegation on the development of Hanoi in 2020. Despite severe impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hanoi is on track to achieve a high economic expansion rate of 4%, while the city’s state budget revenue will exceed the target amount set by the municipal People’s Council.
According to Hue, such achievement is thanks to the strong support from the public, including the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) and followers.
“The Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) has encouraged its followers to actively participate in patriotism emulation campaign, along with the city efforts in pursuing the dual target of both containing the pandemic and boosting economic recovery,” stated Hue.
Hue expected the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) to continue supporting the sustainable and rapid development of Hanoi, while wishing the church to have a happy Christmas with health and happiness.
On behalf of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), Pastor Nguyen Huu Mac thanked Hanoi’s authorities for in creating favorable conditions for the church to operate efficiently.
Pastor Mac said he is willing to support the city’s patriotism emulation campaigns to contribute to the overall development of Hanoi.
