Hanoi to inaugurate interchange connecting Belt Road No.3 and Hai Phong - Hanoi expressway late December (22:07 04/12/2020)
The project has an investment capital of VND402.16 billion, in which the construction cost was estimated at VND335.6 billion, and project management cost of VND5.02 billion, and which is scheduled to complete by 2021.
The target of the project is to construct an interchange connecting Belt Road No.3 and Hai Phong - Hanoi expressway under the approved master plan, creating condition for traffic safety and short travel time.
Given the current progress, the project is set to be completed before December 30, 2020.
Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh highlighted the efforts of related agencies in Long Bien and Gia Lam districts; which have contributed to fast disbursement progress of public funds.
Despite the severe impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, the project has met the requirements in terms of quality and progress, stated the Hanoi Mayor, while expecting the project to soon open for traffic in 2020.
The Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee expected contractors to pay attention to labor safety and environmental issues during the construction progress.
“This is one of Hanoi’s major construction project to mark the national 13th Party Congress. Therefore, contractors and project management units have to ensure that the project would be ready for traffic by late December 2020,” stated the mayor.
