Hanoi prepares for National Assembly and People’s Council elections, tenure 2021 - 2026 (21:24 27/11/2020)
At the meeting, voters put forth recommendations regarding the management of apartments, the construction of cultural houses, water system drainage infrastructure, the repair of old apartments, revising traffic light systems at wards of Van Phuc, Quang Trung and Mo Lao, among others.
Chairwoman of Hanoi People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said there remain shortcomings in management of apartment complexes. However, with the support of the Ministry of Construction and the Party Committee have timely instructed to ensure efficiency in the management of apartment buildings.
Ngoc requested the Department of Construction to revise the plan of Hanoi under the Resolution No.26-NQ/TU regarding greater efficiency in leadership of Party Committee and management of state management in operation of apartment and building in Hanoi; revising old apartments in Hanoi to support the process of reparation and upgrade old building.
Chairwoman of Hanoi People’s Council requested the Ha Dong district People’s committee to classify buildings and clarify the responsibilities of districts and city in addressing shortcomings
For cultural houses, Chairwoman of Hanoi People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said Hanoi has 238 villages and civil blocks lacking cultural houses, expecting Ha Dong district to ensure greater management of cultural houses and provide sufficient fund to build cultural houses for the people.
For the voting process of National Assembly and People’s Council deputies for tenure 2021 - 2026, Ngoc expected Ha Dong district and other wards, civil blocks to review the number of voters, especially those live in apartment buildings, to ensures successful organization of the voting process.
