Vice Director of Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan said with over 400 OCOP products and goods from 15 provinces/cities that are displayed in an area of 100 square meters at the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (No.489 Hoang Quoc Viet street, Bac Tu Liem district), this place is set to attract a large amount of domestic and foreign tourists, as well as a milestone to establish additional showrooms in Bac Tu Liem and other districts.
Previously in September and October, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, along with people’s committees of districts of Ha dong, Gia Lam and Son Tay launched showrooms of OCOP products in relation to the promotion of craft village and agricultural tourism at Van Phuc ward (Ha Dong district), Bat Trang commune (Gia Lam district), Duong Lam commune (Son Tay district), and another showroom at the Industrial Development Center under the municipal Department of Industry and Trade.
The majority of goods displayed at the showroom are rated OCOP three-star and above, including clothes, beverage, vegetable, fresh food, furniture, among others.
In 2021, the Department targets to have at least two showrooms for OCOP products at each district and ward, while cooperating with other provinces/cities in taking their OCOP products to Hanoi via these showrooms.
