Under the plan, Vietnamese citizens residing in the country and abroad are eligible to join the writing contest. Works submitted to the contest could be of individual or in group about good people doing good deeds in every aspects of life.
It could also be works on good people and good deeds in Hanoi or articles published in print or online newspapers, as well as broadcast on radio and television.
Importantly, all the works are required to describe the actual person and deeds, not fictional, aiming to raising public awareness on good deeds in life. The maximumnumber of words of each article should not exceed 2,000, while radio or television works should not be longer than 7 minutes.
The organizer encourages works should be attached with the picture of the people in subject.
The writing contest is set to begin from October 15, 2020 until June 1, 2021; while the award ceremony would be held on the 76th anniversary of the August Revolution and Independence Day (September 2, 2021).
Prizes would include one special prize worth VND20 million; two first prizes worth VND10 million each; four second prizes worth VND7 million each; six third prizes worth VND5 million each; 30 consolation prizes worth VND3 million each.
Works that are qualified for final round of evaluation would receive a prize of VND500,000 each.
