From Hanoi, PCC member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang; Head of the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Communications Nguyen Van Phong attended the teleconference.
At the event, PCC member, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha gave a report on the results of the 2020 National High School Graduation Exam as well as university enrollment in the 2020-2021 academic year and major orientations of his sector.
Pham Manh Khoi, head of the Department of Party Organizations at Grassroots Level under the PCC’s Organization Commission, reported results and experience drawn from holding grassroots Party congresses, and some emerging problems facing Party organizations at all levels in the time ahead, among others.
According to Khoi, as of September 15, a total 1,309 Party organizations completed holding the congresses, of these, 122 directly elected secretaries. Additionally, six Party organizations of the People’s Armed Forces, Yen Bai, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Can Tho and Lao Cai, finished their task in July.
Making conclusion at the teleconference, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Education and Communications Phan Xuan Thuy asked provincial-level Party organizations to focus on disseminating results and lessons drawn from Party assemblies, and preparations for Party congresses of Committees under the Central level.
Thuy underscored the importance to continue spreading the instruction of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong in the article titled “Making preparations for and successfully organizing the 13th National Party Congress to bring the country into a new development period”.
Provincial authorities were told to increase communication activities on COVID-19 fight in association with socio-economic development, President Ho Chi Minh's patriotic thoughts, and collectives and individuals having great contribution to patriotic emulation movements in association implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW, among others.
