The district has kept an eye on realizing the municipal authorities’ guiding documents on re-organizing residential groups, reducing the number of groups in the district from 306 to 106.

Special attention has been paid to deploying a plan on organization of various activities to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as well as the Party assemblies at all levels for tenure of 2020 - 2025 toward the 13th National Party Congress, under the guidance of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee.

The district Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated with the municipal People’s Committee, social and political organizations to carry out tasks of politics, socio-economic development and Party building.

In the context of COVID-19 pandemic, Tay Ho has strengthened communication work on coronavirus preventive measures, while calling on the locals to make donations for COVID-19 prevention and control, and jointly monitor the implementation of Resolution 42/CP regarding supporting measures for people facing difficulties due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Making conclusion at the session, Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee, praised Tay Ho District for its efforts in fulfilling political missions in 2020.

The district should focus on organizing activities to celebrate major events of Hanoi, such as the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, the municipal Party Committee's 17th congress, among others, the Chairwoman noted.

The local Fatherland Front chapter was told to be innovative in operation, and encourage local residents to join its activities.

She also urged the district to respond to all campaigns launched by the municipal Fatherland Front Committee, and pursue the dual goal of fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic and boosting socio-economic development.
