Hue also pledged that the municipal government is always ready to help and facilitate the activities of the embassy and Cambodian investors in the city.

For his part, Ambassador Chay Navuth praised the achievements of Vietnam and Hanoi in curbing the spread of COVID-19 over the past time.

Chay Navuth expressed his hope that Hanoi and Phnom Penh as well as Vietnam and Cambodia will soon resume trade once the pandemic is under control.

According to the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment, the capital city is home to four projects from Cambodian companies with total investment of US$1.46 million. Meanwhile, thirty-four projects worth about US$825 million from Hanoian enterprises have been granted investment licenses in Cambodia, primarily in the fields of construction, trade, transport, mining, agriculture, and forestry.
