The project is under of Hanoi’s master plan of the network of buildings for judicial agencies in Hanoi from now on until 2030, with vision to 2050.
Hanoi Civil and Industrial Works Investment and Construction Project Management Unit is the project owner, with contractors being the Joint Venture of Vietnam Construction and Import – Export Corporation (Vinaconex) and A Dong HPP Construction and Investment.
The project covers an area of 3,5 hectares with a seven-floor building, while the estimated cost is around VND711 billion (US$30.63 million).
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung said given the significant role of the People’s Court in the judicial system, it is necessary for the Court to have adequate working environment for court’s personnel to perform their duties.
Hung requested contractors and the Project Management Unit to closely cooperate with other local agencies in implementing the project and complying with laws and regulations, ensuring the quality and construction schedule.
On behalf of the Joint Venture, Vice General Director of Vinaconex Nguyen Huu Toi said the contractor has had experiences in building court houses in the past, saying the Joint Venture is committed to completing the project with the quality and on schedule, which is among of the major projects celebrating Hanoi’s Party congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.
