Hanoi Party Chief visits caring center for people with meritorious service (08:56 28/07/2020)


HNP - On the occasion of 73th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue visited the caring center No.2 Hanoi for people with meritorious service at Vien An commune, Ung Hoa district.   



During the visit, Hue checked on the facilities and the care for people with meritorious services both in terms of physical and mental health. 
 
Hue said when you drink water, remember the source, which is Vietnam’s tradition for many years. During these days, all government agencies, associations and organizations dedicate their love and sincere gratefulness to people with meritorious services. 
 
Hue highly regarded the efforts of staffs at the center in fulfilling their tasks, expecting them to continue excelling intheir jobs on the behalf of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the government and the city in caring for people with meritorious services. 
 
 
Vice Director of the Center Vu Van Trung said from 1994 to date, the center received 114 people with meritorious services for caring. At present, 46 are being cared at the center, including 5 mothers of martyr, 27 wives of fallen combatants, 2 war invalids, among others, 83% of which are elders. 
 
On the same day, Hue attended the event handing gifts to families of people with meritorious services and bicycles for children of social beneficiaries at Ung Hoa district. 
 
Hue handed over 30 gifts worth VND1.2 million each for families of people with meritorious services and 50 bicycles for children of social beneficiaries worth a total of VND200 million.
