VFF’s Hanoi chapter Chairwoman presents gifts to national contributors (09:31 22/07/2020)


HNP - On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - 2020), on July 21, Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s Hanoi chapter, visited and presented gifts to religious dignitaries who are relatives of martyrs in Hoan Kiem District. 


Chairwoman of VFF’s Hanoi chapter Nguyen Lan Huong presents a gift to Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu.


Huong presented gifts to Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)'s Executive Council (in Quan Su pagoda); Most Venerable Thich Thanh Hung, member of the VBS's Executive Council (in Thien Phuc pagoda), and Monk Thich Dam Chinh, member of the VBS's Executive Council (in Van Hanh pagoda). 
 
On behalf of the city leaders, Huong sent greetings to the religious dignitaries, while expressing her deep gratitude to those who fought and sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom. 
 
She also wished them to join hands to build a prosperous capital city.
 
The religious dignitaries expressed sincere thanks to the municipal authorities for their attention. 
 
They vowed to continue encouraging Buddhists to comply with policies and laws of the Party and State, and the city of Hanoi.
