In the past five years, UDIC generated revenue of VND48.49 trillion, averaging a growth rate of 8.3% annually, resulting in after-tax profit of VND7.64 trillion, or a growth rate of 38.3%.
UDIC so far has contributed VND4.4 trillion to the state budget, while the company’s owner’s equity increased from VND2.63 trillion in 2015 to VND4.43 trillion in 2019, representing an increase of 1.67 times.
As of the end of 2019, UDIC employed 3,905 people who earn an average monthly income of VND8.1 million, or a average income growth rate of 6 - 8%.
For the next term, UDIC targets growth rate in revenue of 7-8% per year and monthly income for its employees to grow by 7 - 8% annually.
At the meeting, Vice Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Dao Duc Toan congratulated UDIC on its achievements over the past term, saying the company has constructed major projects in Hanoi, including the city’s water drainage system, the Belt road No.3, and the construction of the Field Hospital supporting the Covid-19 fight in just 7 days.
Toan requested the company to continue focus on improving efficiency in operation, including the construction of new urban area and industrial parks.
Toan expected UDIC to strive towards sustainable development and continue contributing to the development of Hanoi.
