According to Ngoc, the municipal People’s Council approved 12 reports and 13 resolutions, including 12 related to the mechanism and policies for socio-economic development and social security.
This would lay a strong foundation for Hanoi’s authorities to mobilize resources efficiently for the city’s development, Ngoc said.
Ngoc stated the Council’s deputies have actively engaged in discussions regarding people’s concern, for which all responses from Hanoi’s leaders have been publicly posted on the city’s portal.
Ngoc added during the meeting, substantial solutions have been put forth to help Hanoi pursuing the socio-economic development targets for this year, while many expected based on the lessons from the Covid-19 fight, Hanoi would improve efficiency in state management.
Meanwhile, there were more recommendations to take advantage of Hanoi in the post-Covid-19 pandemic for further development, especially in fields of healthcare, education, or tourism.
Hanoi would also focus on shortcomings and difficulties to realize its socio-economic targets for the 5-year period, at the same time putting in places measures to avoid the Covid-19 resurgence.
