Hanoi People’s Council approves resolution supporting non professional public servants (05:29 09/07/2020)


HNP - 100% of deputies of Hanoi People’s Council on July 7 approved a resolution providing support for public servants at communal e-level that subject to lay-off due to the reorganization of administrative units. 



Director of Hanoi’s Department of Internal Affairs Vu Thu Ha said public servants subject to lay-off due to the restructuring of administrative units at communal level would receive three-month salaries. 
 
Non professional public servants at villages, or communes, that are subject to lay-off, would be entitled for one month of allowance if they retire one year ahead of their respective term;  and a half month of allowance if the leave their jobs less than six month before the expiration of their term; quitting  7 to 12 months ahead of term expiration would be considered as one year. The maximum of allowance would not exceed three months of allowance for person. 
 
Secretary of Party Committee at village-level, head of the civil block, among others, that subject to lay-off before their term due to merging of villages and civil blocks would be entitled for one month of allowance if they retire one year ahead of their respective term; from less than six months with  a half month of allowance; from 7 - 12 months would be considered as one year. The maximum of allowance would not exceed three months of allowance for person. 
 
The duration for carrying out such support would be during the 2019 - 2021 period. 
 
Total people would receive support are over 10,450 with estimated fund of VND4.3 billion, which are allocated from funds for wage reform.
