Hanoi promotes OCOP products at walking streets (09:02 03/07/2020)

HNP - Hanoi’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development issued plan No.42/KH-SNN on July 1, detailing plan to promote one commune one product (OCOP) along with culture of northern regions at walking streets in Hanoi.

The event would consist of 150 booths, including spaces displaying products from northern region of Vietnam and of Hanoi, which is set to take place in five days, from July 23 - 27 at the art and cuisine culture space of Tay Ho District, located in Trinh Cong Son walking street.

Products on display would be those that have been awarded three stars upward, as well as products subject to evaluation in the OCOP 2020; specialties taking part in OCOP of other provinces/cities; products with clear origin, labels, among others.

The event aims to promote and raise public’s awareness regarding OCOP program of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general; supporting the drafting of legal framework for the implementation of OCOP program in subsequent years.

Throughout this event, businesses could have opportunities to look for partners and take OCOP products into super markets and distribution networks, so that Hanoi customers would be able to buy quality products.

Moreover, cultural and cuisine activities would promote greater cooperation and connectivity of  northern region with Hanoi.
