City leader visits Hanoi Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Centre for Disease Control on Health Workers’ Day (22:31 26/02/2020)
Speaking at the meeting, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc lauded the important contributions made by the hospital to the care and protection of people's health.
She took the occasion to wish all physicians and medical workers at the hospital good health and happiness.
She also urged the city’s entities to create favorable conditions for the hospital’s further development.
According to Director of the Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Duy Anh, the hospital currently has three branches with 41 departments and centers, and 1,564 doctors and health workers.
Over the past five years, Hanoi Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology has provided examination and treatment to 3,552,375 medical visits.
In addition to performing reproductive health care services, the hospital has focused on applying advanced medical techniques to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment.
Recently, the hospital’s Party Committee successfully held its Party assembly for the tenure of 2020-2025.
• On the same day, Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc and Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy visited and worked with the Hanoi Center for Disease Control.
They presented flowers and congratulated the staff at the center on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day.
Ngoc applauded efforts made by the center’s staff in realizing the city’s guidelines in disease prevention and healthcare work, especially in combating COVID-19 epidemic.
She asked the health sector to pay more attention to the center.
