According to the municipal Department, the online study platform, known as Hanoi Study, provides a large database for studying under the form of Q&A, in which students of 8th and 9th grade could learn and solve problems of each subject in topics, chapters, semester and of the whole year, including history, geography, civil education, English, physics, chemistry, biology, among others.
Moreover, as an online platform, students could solve problems and learn anywhere and anytime.
After a pilot period from February 7 - 17 at 15 middle schools in Hanoi, Hanoi Study received positive responses with over 1.6 million visits and 120,000 users. On February 20, Hanoi’s Department of Education and Training expanded the platform to all secondary schools in the city, allowing students at 8th and 9th grade to learn various subjects online.
The Department requested secondary schools to update the identification code of students participating in the platform into the database of the Ministry of Education and Training at the address: http://csdl.moet.gov.vn.
All schools are responsible for the privacy of information of students.
Online studying is an efficient method for students to learn and exercise, while parents are able to keep track of their children’s learning process.
At present, the municipal Department of Education and Training are developing the database to support the learning process of students at middle and high schools in Hanoi.
