Giving a report at the session, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee Bui Hoang Phan said all Party cells have been rolled out plans on organizing all-level Party assemblies so far while calling on all officials, Party members and people to respond to the emulation movements.
As of February 18, 2020, 54 out of 501 Party cells have successfully held their assemblies. Others are scheduled to be held by March 31 at the latest.
Meanwhile, the district Party Committee has met with the district’s former and incumbent leaders and heads of the city’s entities and organizations to collect their opinions on the draft political report for its 26th assembly. Notably, Hoan Kiem has also paid special attention to the personnel work for the assembly.
According to Secretary of the district Party Committee Duong Duc Tuan, in realizing instructions of the Central level and the Municipal Party Committee, the district has established three sub-committees to prepare for its assembly for the tenure of 2020-2025.
The preparation has been implemented as scheduled and political security has been maintained, Tuan stressed.
Speaking at the session, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc highly appreciated the district’s preparation for the assembly.
Underlining key missions in the time ahead, Ngoc asked the district Party Committee to draw up detail plans on organizing its assembly as guided by the city, and focus on dealing with concerned issues to maintain political security in the area.
• On the same day, Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc also inspected the Covid-19 prevention work in Hoan Kiem District.
The inspection team included Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy, leaders of the Department of Health and the council’s departments.
Reporting to the delegation, Standing Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee Dinh Hong Phong said not a single case of Covid-19 infection had been detected in the area. Four suspected people were confirmed negative with nCoV.
Considering the Covid-19 prevention as an important mission, the district authorities have issued 21 guiding documents, and held 108 conferences on combating the novel coronavirus disease.
The district’s Health Center, serving as a standing agency, has prepared full medical equipment against the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, ward medical stations along with private clinics have jointly responded to the outbreak of the acute respiratory disease.
Although no cases of acute pneumonia had been reported in Vietnam over the past six days, Hoan Kiem has paid special attention to disseminating about preventive measures among locals.
Making conclusion at the session, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc highly appreciated the district’s drastic participation in the fight against the Covid-19 disease.
She requested the district to continue closely monitoring, detecting and isolating suspected cases in the community.
Ngoc also noted the district should actively prepared medical facilities in response to the epidemic.
