Giving a report at the session, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee Nguyen Viet Phuong said in realizing Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo and Plan 155-KH/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee on organizing all-level Party assemblies, Thanh Tri has drawn up plans and disseminated them to all key officials.
The district has established three subcommittees and four working teams to prepare for the assemblies.
Thanh Tri has proactively summarized its working programs as a foundation draw up the political report for the district Party assembly which is expected to be completed before March 20, 2020.
So far, 209 out of 335 Party cells have successfully held their assemblies for the tenure of 2020-2022. The district’s 23rd Party assembly is scheduled to take place in June, 2020.
Regarding Covid-19 prevention and control, Vice Chairwoman of the district People’s Committee Pham Thi Thu Huyen said the district has focused on carrying out communication campaigns on preventive measures and providing necessary knowledge for health workers and teachers, among others.
Thanh Tri has also disinfected schools and officials while isolating suspected people as regulated.
Making conclusion at the working session, Chairwoman of the VFF’s chapter of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong acknowledged and praise the district’s drastic participation in the fight against the novel coronavirus (nCoV).
She asked for stronger measures in the time ahead contain the spread of Covid-19 in the community.
Regarding the organization of all-level Party assemblies, the Chairwoman urged the district to organize its Party assembly on schedule.
She asked the district to pay special attention to preparing the political report and the personnel work for the assembly.
In addition, Thanh Tri needs to make more effort to fulfill al socio-economic targets, she noted.
