Thang Long Metal Wares was founded in 1969 and has become one of Vietnam’s major enterprises in making mechanical products for industrial sectors; assembling auto, motorcycles, electronic and specialized products.
Chairman of boards Pham Huu Hung said the company produces over 300 types of products with annual production capacity from 15 to 20 million. Over the last few years, Thang Long Metal Wares recorded annual sales growth of 10%, posting revenue of VND1.06 trillion (US$45.77 million) in 2019.
In addition to the headquarter in Sai Dong commune, Long Bien district and five factories, Thang Long Metal Wares owns a shopping mall, one vocational school and one joint-venture. The company has 1,750 employees, including 200 engineers and 500 qualified workers.
Secretary Hai praised the efforts of the company in cementing its status as Vietnam’s top mechanic company amid fierce competition.
On behalf of the city’s leaders, Hai congratulated the company for its achievements and thanked the entire staffs and employees for their contribution to the overall growth of Hanoi.
In 2020, Hai expected the company and its employees to continue excelling in production and enhancing productivity to penetrate global markets, requesting the company to improve employees’ living standards and encouraging greater innovation during the production process.
