At the construction site, representative of the Project Management Unit of Hanoi’s Transportation project informed the project would include the construction of two bridges crossing Linh Dam lake with length of 542.96 meters and width of 13 meters each.
Additionally, there would be two roads connecting with the Belt Road No.3 with length of 554.88 meters and width of 7 meters.
Total areas subject to clearance is estimated at 31,571 square meters. The project is estimated to complete on September 2020.
Chung highlighted the efforts of the Project Management Unit, along with other related departments, units and contractors.
The mayor added this is one of Hanoi’s priority projects, serving to relieve pressure for Thanh xuan and Phap Van intersection, addressing traffic congestion at the Nguyen Huu Tho - Giai Phong intersection and in Linh Dam.
Chung requested contractors to mobilize sufficient personnel, equipment and technologies to speed up the construction process, ensuring the completion of the project as scheduled and with quality, as well as full safety for workers and equipment.
Chung noted all departments and units should cooperate with the Project Management Unit in addressing issues related to the project.
