Hanoi to have 31 new streets (08:46 06/12/2019)


HNP - At the 11th meeting of the Hanoi People’s Council on December 4, the deputies approved a resolution on naming new streets and routes, adjusting the length of some streets and public works in the city. 


Director of the Department of Culture and Sports To Van Van Dong makes a statement at the meeting.


Director of the Department of Culture and Sports To Van Dong submitted a resolution on naming 31 new streets and amending the lengths of five streets in 13 districts and towns to the Municipal People’s Council for its approval.
 
Accordingly, 31 new roads will be named, including Cau Noi, Dong Thang and Nguyen Xuan Khoat in North Tu Liem District; Nguyen Do Cung, Nguyen Xuan Linh and Dinh Nup in Cau Giay District; O Dong Lam and Nguyen Van Tuyet in Dong Da District; Duong Noi and Nguyen Van Trac in Ha Dong District; Hung Thinh in Hoang Mai District; Gia Thuong, Bui Thien Ngo, Nguyen Van Ninh, Ngo Huy Quynh, Ngo Viet Thu, Tran Van Tra and Dinh Duc Thien in Long Bien District; Tu Lien and Vu Tuan Chieu in Tay Ho District; Thanh Trung, Doan Quang Dung and Nguyen Khiem Ich in Gia Lam District; Van Xuan in Hoai Duc District; Me Linh, Dai Thinh, Le chan, Ho De and Bat Nan in Me Linh District; August 17 Street in Quoc Oai District, and Vu Lang in Thanh Tri District.
 
Meanwhile, the five extended streets are Nguyen Van Loc Street in Ha Dong District, from the crossroads of Vu Trong Khanh Street to the intersection near Booyoung Vina project, with 760 m long and 25 - 27 m wide; 
 
Tran Khat Tran Street in Hai Ba Trung District, from no.251 Tran Khat Chan Street to the  intersection of Nguyen Khoai Street, with 500 m long and 54 m wide; 
 
Thi Sach Street in Hai Ba Trung District, from the end of the current Thi Sach Street to the T-junction with Nguyen Cong Tru Street near no.67 Nguyen Cong Tru Street, with 187 m long and 16.5 m wide; 
 
Huyn Van Nghe Street in Long Bien District, from the end of Huynh Van Nghe Street to the crossroads of Tran Danh Tuye, with 520 m long and 22 – 30 m wide; 
 
Luong The Vinh Street in South Tu Liem District, from the end of Luong The Vinh to the junction of Cuong Kien Street at the foot of the Me Tri overpass, with 645 m long and 27 m wide. 
 
The resolution was officially passed at the meeting with 100% of votes.
