HNP - Vietnamese students won two gold and one silver medals, as well as two special prizes at the International Invention Show (INOVA) 2019, in which, students from Hanoi got one gold medal and one special prize.

The Vietnamese delegation comprised high school students from Hanoi and Quang Ninh.
The research project, named “The process of making biodegradable food wrapping film” from students at Kim Anh High school in Hanoi, was highly regarded by the show’s organizer and other delegations from Croatia, Rumania, the US, Canada, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Cambodia, in terms of practicability and won a medal from the Romanian Investors Forum.
Under the instruction of teacher Pham Thi Lan Huong, students at Kim Anh high school used cheap and friendly materials to make biodegradable food wrapping film. Notably, the film made from the process is capable of keeping the food fresh in a long period of time, not to mention its user-friendly, safety and capability of reusing for multiple times.
After using, the product is degradable in the environment similar to organic waste.
The event was jointly organised by the Croatian Inventors Network and the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) in Zagreb city on November 13-16, with the participation of over 500 innovative products from 31 countries and territories.
