Tran Dinh Canh, deputy head of Organization Commission under the Hanoi Party Committee, said the program is relevant in building the Party and the political system of Hanoi.
Meanwhile, the implementation of the resolution No.4 of the Party’s Central Committee has strictly followed the instruction No.05 of the Politburo on “Promoting learning and following the thought and working style of President Ho Chi Minh,” said Canh.
The draft report also pointed out results of fulfilling criteria and specific works under the program; showing five shortcomings, three reasons and 5 lessons. At the same time, the draft report also provided visions, objectives and solutions for Party building; establishing a political system of Hanoi in the 2020 - 2025 period.
The program No.1, while helping improve the quality and efficiency of the political system, has solidified the confidence of staffs, party members and the people.
Hanoi Party Committee has adopted a more drastic measures and transformed the party building efforts towards greater efficiency.
Meanwhile, Vice Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang requested the report to provide in more detail evaluation on shortcoming and difficulties in Party building activities, while specific data should be included to better reflect improvements and shortcomings during the process.
Secretary Hoang Trung Hai hailed the meeting saying it showed the high responsibilities of members of the Steering Committee in implementing the program No.1.
Hai requested the Organization Commission to gather feedback and revise and finalize the report in both form and content, which can demonstrate improvements in the management of the Party Committee.
More importantly, the report has to include results of eight science projects at city level.
Hai requested the event summarizing the program No.1 to be merged with a similar event for program No.5 on enhancing national defense and security, ensuring public order in new situation in the 2016 - 2020 period, and program No.7 on improving efficiency in preventing corruption and combating wastefulness in the 2016 - 2020 period.
