Invested by the Republic of Korea’s Global Consultant Network Co.Ltd and the Hanoitourist Corporation, the work costs a total of US$420 million, covering an area of over 100 hectares in Soc Son District, Hanoi.
Addressing the event, Chairman Chung said it is the first-ever horse race track in Vietnam.
The project is expected to generate more jobs for local laborers and raise the locals’ income, contributing to increasing the city’s budget revenue, he added, noting that it is a symbol for Vietnam - RoK strategic partnership.
Chung assigned Soc Son District to step up site clearance and assist the South Korean group in administrative procedures to start construction of the project as planned.
For his part, Charmvit President Lee Daa Bong expressed his honor to attend the event.
He committed to ensuring the completion of the project as scheduled.
