At the reception, Chase Carey said that he visited the construction of the F1 racetrack in North Tu Liem District, Hanoi, expressing his surprise at its swift progress.
Particularly, the Pit Building has been completed, he added, stressing that this is a proud achievement that Hanoi attained in a short time period of construction.
Once again, Chase Carey highly appreciated Hanoi’s sweeping vision in selecting the location for the street race near My Dinh National Stadium while pledging to help the city to successfully organize the international event.
He also expected that the race will contribute to promoting the images of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general.

For his part, Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung briefed the F1 President and CEO on the detailed organizational plan as well as promotional activities to attract tourists to Hanoi's race.
He took the occasion to ask the Formula One Group to help Hanoi learn from and connect with firms responsible for hosting the race in other locations around the world to ensure the quality of the event.
