The session was co-chaired by Le Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, and Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Steering Commission on judicial reform.
In attendance were Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Quang Huy; Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Le Hong Son, and leaders of the city’s entities.
Speaking at the session, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long said that the Directive issued by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat set up five rules, eight missions and solutions. To sum up the directive execution, the Steering Committee headed by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh will inspect some ministries, sectors and localities.
He stressed that following the directive, the team wanted to listen the city’s comprehensive outcomes over the past ten years as well as shortcomings, problems, experiences, and orientations in executing the directive in the time to come.
Later, Director of the Hanoi Department of Justice Ngo Anh Tuan gave a report on the outcomes of the ten-year implementation of the directive.
Participants also had thorough discussion about outcomes, shortcomings and solutions to improve the efficiency of international cooperation in law, administrative reform and judicial reform.
