Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan said that the program will provide a list of outstanding products from Vietnamese firms to be voted by consumers.
The program is launched by the Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi chapter, the Party Committee of Businesses Bloc, the Association of small and medium enterprises, and Hanoi Radio Television.
This year, industry groups which will be introduced to local consumers for their votes include construction – furnishings, pharmaceutical products – cosmetics, education – training, farm produce, banking services, tourism, media, and transport, among others.
Also, this year’s program will add one more criterion on product models and packaging to its evaluation system, increasing the total to 14. Each firm can register a maximum of three products to be voted.
The program will take place from August 1 to November 1, 2019. The Organizing Board will receive units’ applications from August 1 to September 16, 2119 at the Department of Industry and Trade.
Consumers can vote on the website www.binhchonhangviet.com.vn from September 16 to October 14, 2019.
A ceremony to honor most-favored Vietnamese products 2019 and launch Hanoi’s Month of Promotion 2019 will be held at the Ly Thai To Square in Hoan Kiem District on November 1, 2019.
Wining products will receive a certificate while their producers can use the “consumers’ most-favored Vietnamese product” title for their advertisements.
According to the Organizing Board, under the theme “Joining hands to build Vietnamese trademark”, the Vietnamese goods fair-Hanoi 2019 is scheduled to be held from September 26 – 30 at the Son Tay town stadium.
The fair is expected to attract from 250 to 300 stalls.
