Deputy Secretary Dao Duc Toan inspects implementation of Program 07 in Tay Ho District (18:58 28/07/2019)
Report presented at the meeting showed that over the past years, the Party Committee of Tay Ho District has always considered the corruption prevention work as an important task among its subordinate units.
The district Party Committee has regularly guided all-level Party organizations, authorities, and Fatherland Front Committees to take synchronous measures for corruption prevention and control, practice of frugality and anti wastefulness, especially in financial sector, land use and management, investment and capital construction, and project management.
Moreover, the district has enhanced inspection and deal with complaints and denunciations, contributing to maintaining political security, social security and order in the area.
Notably, the district Party Committee has clarified its important role in conducting inspection and supervision as regulated by the Party. Every year, Tay Ho elaborates and carries out inspection plans in an effort to prevent corruption.
From 2016 to June 30, 2019, the district Party Committee’s Commission for Inspection conducted and monitored 155 inspections on Party organizations, 25 Party members.
Making conclusion at the session, Deputy Secretary Dao Duc Toan applauded positive changes by the district Party Committee in the fight against corruption, thrift practice and anti-wastefulness.
He urged the district, in the time to come, to take more comprehensive measures for corruption combat, review the tasks and strictly handle violations, and remove policy-related inadequacies.
Additionally, he requested Tay Ho to strengthen administrative reform, give legal assistance to locals, improve the quality of the political system, promote the role of social criticism, and deal with concerned issues, among others.
