The event was chaired by Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyen Thi Tuyen. Chairwoman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong was present at the conference.
Over the first half of the year, the mass mobilization work has followed guiding documents of the Central level and key political missions of Hanoi. Accordingly, the city has focused on eight working programs associated with implementing the year of improving effectiveness and efficiency of the political system, and emulation movement “Good examples of mass mobilization”.
Notably, all-level authorities, departments, agencies and units have focused on carrying out the Year of Government Mass Mobilization with a wide range of practical activities.
Moreover, administrative reform has been enhanced. Particularly, Hanoi abolished 191 administrative procedures, streamlined 71 others and provided 1,031 online public services at stage 3 and 4.
Besides, the city has paid special attention to dealing with complaints and denunciations to maintain political security, social order and safety in the area.
All-level Mass Mobilization Commissions have also organized meetings among leaders of Party Committees, authorities and Fatherland Front Committees, social and political organization and local residents.
However, the Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization also pointed out shortcomings and weaknesses in fulfilling its tasks.
Making conclusion at the event, Head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyen Thi Tuyen requested Mass Mobilization Commissions to review and fulfill all missions in 2019.
She also noted that Mass Mobilization Commissions need to understand people's thoughts and aspirations, and carry out activities to mark the traditional day.
