According to the Chairwoman, the meeting focused on implementing missions of socio-economic development, national security and defense, budget revenue and expenditure in the first half of 2019 as well as key targets in the remaining months of the year.
At the meeting, delegates also had thorough discussions about concerned issues in many fields while offering breakthrough solutions with the focus on bringing into full play the city’ advisory and supervisory role.
The Municipal People’s Council requested the Municipal People’s Committee to learn all opinions so as to effectively carry out targets, missions and solutions stated in resolutions of the Central level, the Municipal Party Committee and People’s Council as well as take measures to remove shortcomings and weaknesses.
Also, the Municipal People’s Council discussed and approved 11 reports and 14 specialized resolutions while urging the Municipal People’s Committee, all levels, sectors and localities, basing on their functions, to strictly execute resolutions, making sure that the resolutions come into life.
In effort to create the consensus in realizing resolutions of the Municipal People’s Council, the city’s entities need to strengthen the communication as well as brief their problem during the implementation, the Chairwoman noted.
