As of June 20, according to reports of districts and towns, the city’s 95,033 laborers have found jobs, accounting for 61.7% of the plan.
Additionally, a total of 50,270 people were recruited and trained in businesses. In the first half of the year, vocational training establishments worked with 512 businesses to provide vocational training courses in 2019.
In the remaining months of 2019, Hanoi will strive to fulfill job creation targets in 2019, including providing jobs to 154,000 laborers; reducing the rate of unemployment under 4%.
Thus, the city will continue strengthening the communication and dissemination of Labor Code, Law on Labor Safety and Sanitation, among others; increasing the management in employment sector; finishing collection, storage and analysis of labor market information in the city, among others.
