While welcoming the delegation to Hanoi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu lauded the growth of the Vietnam - Cambodia long-term traditional ties.
Notably, Hanoi has maintained good relations with Phnom Penh as well as other Cambodian localities via regular exchanges of delegations, he added.
On basis of the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, the capital cities have jointly carried out many common works and projects.
Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Suu stressed that the working visit is designed to boost the stronger ties between the two sides.

For his part, General Pusa Butdy expressed his sincere thanks to the city leader for his warm welcome.
He affirmed that the Cambodian army and people always bear in mind the sacrifices and contributions by Vietnamese volunteer soldiers to the country’s victory over the Pol Pot genocidal regime.
Also, he took the occasion to brief his host on the annual meeting among the Capital High Command of Hanoi, the High Command of Cambodia’s special military zone and the High Command of Vientiane.
General Pusa Butdy underlined the event’s importance in maintaining and promoting their ties as well as helping the sides to learn from each other.
