At the meeting, the representative of the NA’s deputy delegation of Hanoi briefed voters about agenda for the upcoming session as well as the outcomes of the previous meeting.
Local voters voiced their concern about illegal construction on public land, shortage of meeting spaces for residents, attention to policy beneficiaries and those in difficult circumstance, improvement of drainage system, and others.

At the meeting, Nguyen Xuan Luu, Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee and Chairman of the district People’s Committee explained to voters’ concerns under the competence.
On behalf of the delegation, Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said that at the upcoming session, the National Assembly will consider approval for seven bills. They include the revised laws on education, tax management, enforcement of criminal judgments, the law on architecture, the law on amending and supplementing some articles of the law on public investment, the bill on preventing and combating harmful effects of alcohol and beer, and a draft resolution on the law and ordinance development program in 2020.
Besides, lawmakers will discuss another nine draft laws.

According to the Chairwoman, the NA’s 7th session is scheduled to last for 19 days.
She wished the district leaders to continue receiving all voters’ opinions to address burning issues.
The district also needs to focus on fulfilling tasked assigned by the Municipal People’s Council and People’s Committee; ensuring social welfare, effectively carrying out policies for revolutionary contributors and building civilized, modern urban areas, she urged.
