Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung inspects key traffic projects (21:50 29/03/2019)
Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung inspected the schedule of CT3 bidding package relating to underground items at stations of S9, S10, S11 and S12.
According to the representative of Hyundai E&C-Ghella joint venture, so far, the bidding package has been implemented as scheduled.
He also pointed out difficulties in executing the package, especially land clearance for S11 and S12 stations.
Head of the Municipal Urban Rail Project Management Board Nguyen Cao Minh said that the Nhon-Hanoi Station urban railway has been built safely.
The board has also worked together with relevant units to complete procedures for capital disbursement in April, he added.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung praised the efforts of the Hanoi Urban Rail Project Management Board, contractors and local authorities in implementing the CT3 bidding package.
He affirmed that the city government has enough capital to finance the project, and urged the contractor to accelerate and complete the package on schedule.
Following, Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung also inspected the construction of Mai Dich - Thang Long overpass section.
According to the representative of the Hanoi Urban Rail Project Management Board, the units finished the construction of connecting items of Mai Dich, Doan Ke Thien, Tran Quoc Hoan, Nam Cuong, Do Nhuan, Road 3 and 4.

The Vice Chairman asked Bac Tu Liem District to pay special attention to completing the land clearance for the project in April, 2019.
He assigned the Department of Construction in collaboration with the Department of Transport to check street lighting and drainage systems, trees and pavements before putting into exploitation.
He also requested the contractor to cooperate with construction units to complete the project on schedule to mark the Capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 2019).
