Standing Board of Ha Noi People’s Council holds hearings on construction order management (08:13 26/03/2019)
The session saw the attendance of Hoang Trung Hai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly deputy delegation of Ha Noi; Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Chung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council; Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Ha Noi Fatherland Front Committee.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said that the session focuses on construction order management in the city. Accordingly, relevant agencies will clarify issues in this field.
According to the Chairwoman, over the past years, Ha Noi has always considered the management of construction order as an important and regular mission. Thus, the city has focused on instructing and issuing plans to remove existing problems and weaknesses in construction order management.
However, she noted that apart from the achievements, Ha Noi has also faced arising issues during its socio-economic development, such as planning, urban development, land and construction management, among others.

Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc requested deputies of the Municipal People’s Council to follow the session’s purpose and requirement, and give their straightforward and constructive opinions.
Meanwhile, the Municipal People’s Committee, departments, sectors and relevant units need to explain clearly concerned issues with the focus on clarifying causes and responsibilities and working out concrete roadmaps as well as outlining measures in the coming time, she requested.
