Among Ha Noi’s leaders were Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung; Standing Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu; and Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy.
According to Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, ASFV has been detected on farms in the northern provinces of Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Ha Noi, Ha Nam and Hai Duong.

Giving a report the teleconference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu said that over the past time, the city has strictly carried out Directive No. 04/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister; granted a Public Telegraph dated February 22nd, 2019 on requesting departments, sectors and localities to take drastic measures to prevent the ASFV epidemic; established inspection teams to check the work of epidemic prevention in facilities.
Notably, Ha Noi has strengthened the popularization of the ASFV outbreak among local residents; tightened the supervision of the epidemic in localities; and launched environmental sanitation campaigns citywide, etc.
Addressing the conference, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated positive and drastic participation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and some localities in timely preventing the epidemic.

He urged sectors, localities to drastically take specific measures to curb the outbreak.
He also asked the entire political system, levels, sectors, enterprises and farmers to strictly implement Directive 04 on synchronously taking urgent measures to control the ASFV disease.
