Giving a report at the session, Director of the Ha Noi Institute for Socio Economic Development Studies, Nguyen Hong Son said that the institute completed a thematic report on situation and solutions to improve efficiency of the state management in socio-cultural field of urban government in Ha Noi, and positively joined the pilot project to build an urban administration model in the city.
Furthermore, the institute’s three projects were approved by the Municipal People’s Committee, namely, “Improving and increasing the quality of the relations between citizens and Ha Noi’s administrative agencies towards a democratic, civilized and modern administration”, “Managing and minimizing risks which are able to become disasters in the city”, “Capital’s industrialization and modernization by 2025 and orientation to 2030”.
Notably, the institute is assigned to act as a standing agency of Topic No.8 on evaluating the situation and results of implementing Resolution of the 17th Municipal Party Committee’s congress (tenure of 2015-2020); key orientations, targets, missions and solutions for the 2020-2025 period, vision to 2030”. Accordingly, all contents are being implemented as scheduled.
At the working session, participations exchanged their opinions, and offered various solutions for the topic.
After listening to experts’ ideas, Permanent Deputy Secretary Ngo Thi Thanh Hang highly appreciated significant contributions of the institute’s officials, civil servants and workers to the city’s development.
Stressing some key missions in 2019 and following years, she requested the institute to continue renewing, improving its ability to fulfill assigned tasks, especially completing the topic.
She noted that the institute needs to improve the quality of officials, civil servants and staffs; enhance the Party building; and promote the IT application.
