Construction of social housing apartment in Kim Chung Urban Area begins (22:45 16/10/2018)

HNP – The Ha Noi People’s Committee organized a ceremony on October 14th to start the construction of the social housing apartment in Kim Chung Urban Area, Dong Anh suburban district, Ha Noi.

The event saw the attendance of member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, and Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung. 


The project, invested by the Ha Noi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) and the Viglacera Corporation, aims to build a green urban areas for residents with many synchronously utilities, such as green parks, campus, community house, contributing to creating urban landscape in Dong Anh suburban in particular, Ha Noi in general. 
With the total area of nearly 3.7ha and 1,588 rooms for 5,330 people, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2020. It has a total investment of around VND 1,300 billion.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung emphasized that the construction of the project expressed the effort of the Party Committee – the People’s Council – the People’s Committee of Ha Noi in carrying out the PM’s plan. Accordingly, Ha Noi will build 6.2 million square meters of social housing apartment for low-income workers in industrial parks. 
He asked the HANDICO and the Viglacera Corporation to tighten the cooperation to take measures to complete the project as scheduled. 
He also urged Dong Anh suburban district and the city’s departments, sectors, and agencies to create favorable conditions for contractors to implement the work.
